Clandestine Cocktail Clinic

Last friday I was invited to the Clandestine Cocktail Clinic by Bacardi.. 14 of my friends and I got in to a basement that Bacardi nicely decorated. We were about to learn how to make cocktails... And I like cocktails and now I like them even more...
We had a great evening with lots of laughs and we learned about the history of Bacardi (seriously interesting, you should look it up!!) And we had a cocktail challenge and of course I didn't win... (I made a cocktail with roses and berries)

The Cocktail Tools Kit is on my wishlist for this Christmas (and otherwise I'm gonna get it myself)

A lot of people ask me where Pip is, well, they made a video (HERE>>>) about it and then you can see that it's very near to central station (and see a glimpse of the destination)...

One Year No Boys Allowed

On the 5th of September is it that time!!

It was one year ago that we opened "No Boys Allowed" I don't remember much (I know that's bad, but I can't help it) of that day, everything went so fast and there were so many people, but I know it was fun and people had a good time...

A lot has happened since then and now we have to celebrate and we will!!

The festivities will take place at club Pip in The Hague... DJ's Special O, the Kevin Spacies (club zonder filter) and myself aka Bosmuis, will spin some records and prepare yourself to have a blast!! Flyer will come soon... Topless will be there and some other surprise appearances!!

Party starts at 22:00 and will continue till 04:00 (or something)

This sunday it's that time again... During the AIFW in Westerpark the third and largest edition of Trash & Treasures... 100 sellers are selling their trash that becomes a treasures for the rest of us.... "No Boys Allowed" is one of the sellers too... The last bunch of the sale goed with us....

With food, live music, booze & treasures... This edition is bound to be a blast!!

The Hague, coolest city ever has it's own Skate Board team, a female skateboard team that is!!

This weekend the Rotterdam Grand Prix of Skateboarding takes place.. It'll be a huge event with lots of skateboarding (duh!!) and partying... Make sure to keep your eyes on these girls, cause skateboarding is what they do best!! (and representing NBA)

For one whole night the city is not going to sleep... The largest cultural festival is coming to Amsterdam... Who's behind that? Off course the Night Mayers of Amsterdam: Club zonder Filter!!!

This time the Petit Nuit Blanche is on the 20th of June and the next official huge Nuit Blanche (not a petite anymore) will fall on the 19th June 2010

Festival Feeling... Release

That was a really nice party that comes with a really nice, good, informative, nicely layed out book...
The owner of Rock Werchter got the first copy and the red haired dude is Arne van Terphoven, the author, who gave a great speech!!

Then Jeugd van Tegenwoordig came to perform and Secret Cinema turned the tables...

288 pages about all the big Festivals... Great photo's, interviews.. Really good job!! So if you're in to festivals make sure you cop one!!

Supra TK Society

Maybe you've seen them circulating on the web already, but the TK society Supra super shoe is coming out soon (in Holland)!!

Terry Kennedy's signature model has made a huge buzzz... Not everybody shares the same opinion about these, but hey, the world would be boring if everybody would.... (us girls can really rock)
Anyway, they're coming in July 09..

THE Festival Feeling....

My good friend Arne van Terphoven finally finished his (second) book, about the indescribable feeling that you get from going to festivals... Beer, Pancakes, Hamburgers all together... Not sleeping, wet from the rain, lying in the sun when it's dry again, listening to John Legend.. Getting crushed at the Beastie Boys, getting scared from Marilyn Manson (but hey, we can say we've seen him at least) falling in love with Josh Homme... Waiting in line for the Dixi... More beer more junk more and more, Aaaaah.... The indiscribable festival feeling (Festivalgevoel)

The book is in Dutch, but the pictures (Isabella Rozendaal) are great, so the languagebarriere can't be an excuse...

Reebok Q Day... THE DAY

Reebok made together with magazine Blend a limited edition Ventilator for Queensday (Koninginnedag)... (Crazy party in Holland, like huge festival in honour of our Queen, it's actually the birthday of queen Juliana, mother of Beatrix) But we had a few pairs left (cuz Queensday is tomorrow), so today we gave them away to the people dressed up for today!
